Location: Gatwick Airport
Client: YOTEL
Type: Modular cabin and supply framework for a brand relaunch
YOTEL wanted a new compact cabin for its airport hotels that could be rolled out as part of a global relaunch. The cabins needed high-end finishes and built-in services, and had to make the most of a very small footprint.
To deliver consistent quality in different countries, we set up a framework agreement with a group of specialist suppliers.
The design is built around a central services pod that forms the bathroom and brings all the main services together in one place.
Interlocking bed modules sit around the pod. They define the sleeping and living areas and act as privacy screens.
The look is clean and futuristic, with smooth curved surfaces, simple forms and carefully planned lighting.
