Brief

Quay House was a run-down building in Canary Wharf. The client wanted to reposition it as co-working space for start-ups, freelancers and established businesses, as a cost-effective way to create income.

Response

We carried out a complete refurbishment that kept as much of the existing building fabric as possible to control cost.

The entrance opens into a new double-height atrium. Bold colours and graphics run through the interiors, with shared areas for meeting and collaboration and quieter spaces for focused work.

Large-scale bespoke artwork on the façade gives the building a clear identity, visible from the street and from passing trains.
