Brief
iQ asked us to design the front of house and room styling for its Nottingham building, in the city’s Lace Market and Creative Quarter. The interiors needed to reflect Nottingham’s heritage while meeting iQ brand standards.
We worked closely with the local architect throughout.
Response
The front of house combines clean lines with warm textures. A bold colour palette draws on the city’s architecture, and curated local artwork tells the story of the area.
The rooms use furniture in earthy tones, bespoke lighting and efficient layouts that support both study and rest.
Design ideas draw on Nottingham’s lace-making history and its links with bicycle manufacturing, both part of the identity of the Creative Quarter.
