Brief

This scheme sits at the heart of the Shoreditch Village development. It combines a 135-bedroom modular citizenM hotel with eight homes and ground floor retail and public space.

We continued the work of Sheppard Robson, the lead architect, in partnership with citizenM.

Response

We supported on-site delivery for Bouygues UK under a design and build contract.

Archaeological finds on site, including remains of buildings, burials and historic artefacts, meant working with Historic England throughout construction.

A live London Overground line crosses the site, which created design constraints and logistical challenges that we helped resolve.
