Hilton Bournemouth Extension

Brief

The hotel wanted to extend its ballroom to create a larger events space for up to 500 guests, catering for events the hotel could not previously host.

Response

The new pavilion extension can be reached both through the existing ballroom and from its own new street-facing entrance, making it a high-quality destination in its own right.

The second part of the project was to improve the hotel’s first impression. We created a more considered, unified and higher-quality landscaped frontage. The pavilion has a green roof and a series of planters that tie in with the wider landscape strategy for the main entrance and restaurant, along with landscape improvements at the corner of Cranbourne Road.

The proposal also creates around ten new jobs at the hotel.
