Interior Design

Since our inception, interior design has formed a core part of our offering to our clients, initially as a one stop shop approach.  We offered a single point of responsibility for the design and delivery of the building and an integrated design approach for the architecture and the interior design.  Since then, we have branched out and offered this as a standalone design service where we can maximise our expertise in architecture by ensuring the design is fully coordinated and in keeping with the building.  Our design approach has remained the same but we offer a more playful modernist approach where colour and texture form a signature role in the designs.

Our first projects were the delivery of the CitizenM hotels under a concept design by their interior designers. We then progressed with Marriott hotels where we were working within the brand standards and reinterpreting them to response to the local context, Luton Airport and Edinburgh.  We have since branched out to Student Residential and Private Homes/ Apartments offering stand alone interior design service.  We welcome direct commissions for interior designs where your looking for something unique and playful to support your brand aspirations.

Areas of Expertise

Hospitality

We have successfully delivered a number of hotels and branded hotel projects ensuring the design meets the requirements of the brand.  We undertaken full detailed design, compliance and procurements and have been novated to the contractor for delivery.  We also have undertaken furniture and lighting selection working with specialist designers in the field to ensure the design is deliverable.  We aim to ensure the design is highly functional, sustainable sourced and responds to the latest tends in a creative manner.
 
We have designed a number of luxury lodges for the park industry where we looked to reposition the middle level parks to offer a higher end luxury look and feel.  The lodge design has harped back to our Scandinavian roots with timber minimalist look being creatively reinterpreted.
 
We have also undertaken a number of student residential projects where we looked to create invigorating spaces to generate interaction and community between the students.

Commercial

We have designed a significant number of commercial interior design projects taking a unit back to its frame and reimagining the space.  Our design approach is to maximise reuse of existing fabric and layouts where possible and being creative with limited budgets to maximise the visual effects.  We focus on colour and texture in spaces that are most used and create a more muted palettes in the primary work spaces.
