Founder of Studio Anyo, bringing his wealth of experience from an impressive portfolio of projects, particularly in the hotel and leisure sector. He was lead designer on a number of modular hotels including 396 bedroom hotel at the Tower of London, 196 bedroom hotel at Shoreditch for CitizenM and the CitizenM hotel at Bankside.
Having worked with Polcom Development to undertake the design and delivery of their first two projects at Heriott Watt University and Luton Airport. James led the technical development of their fully modular system including self stable cores.
Previously, as Associate Partner of Sheppard Robson, he led the hotel sector and was one of the founders of Axis Architects, their technical studio, where he specialised in modular solutions. James worked with Whitbread to review of the construction methodology (Project 10) of a standard Premier Inn to review new ways of construction and development methodology. James led Axis Architects from inception to year 3 where the turnover reached 3m
James has worked on a number of large key developments including worked on the planning application for a 340,000ft² central London office development and achieving planning permission for the office development within the Heart of Slough masterplan, circa 350,000ft².
